Here are some really good books, recomended for ages eight to twelve:

Bridge To Terabithia This is a fabulous book by Katherine Paterson, a heartwarming read but incredibly sad at the end.

The Ramona and Beezus series. By Beverly Clearly, this series is a fun adventure about two sisters, and their time together. Younger Ramona is a bit of a pest, whilst Beatrice, nicknamed Beezus, is more mature.

I Hate Fridays A amazing book, written by Rachel Flynn. It is written in different points of view, with multiple entries from the fictional grade four kids of Koala Hills primary school. Follow the kids through to year eight, with four other books.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid A well known book written by Jeff Kinny. Read the diary of Greg Heffely, and you will see his wimpy ways.

Wolf Girl When the neighboring country invades Gwens village, she is forced to abandon her home and family. She finds a pack of dogs in the forest, and they hep each other survive. A wonderful book by Anh Do. Follow Gwen and her doggies through numerous adventures throughout the series.

45+47 Stella Street and Everything That Happened Written By Elizabeth Honey, this is an incredible story with a well thought plot. What will happen when Old Auntie Lillie's place gets wildly renovated, and new neighbours move in? Are they as perfect as they seem?

The Goldfish Boy A intresting story about a boy who hates going outside, but then he finds himself in a very puzzling mystery.

Nanny Piggins A book by R. A. Spratt, about children with a very ignorant father, who looks for a nanny. What will happen when a chocolate obbsesed pig turns up at the door?

The Peski Kids Another book written by R. A. Spratt, this type it icludes superspys and cockroaches! Follow Joe, Fin, April, and Loretta on amazing adventures through the series.

Friday Barnes Yet another series of books by R. A. Spratt, but this one is a mystery. Eleven year old Friday Barnes goes to Highcrest Academy, a boarding school for the wealthy, using prize money for solving a case. With her very sleepy best fried, Melanie Pelly, who knows what mischief they will get up to solving cases?

Tom Gates By Liz Pichon, Tom Gates is about a boy (called Tom Gates), his friend Derek, and occasionly a bit of annoying Delia. Find out about the adventures they get up to by reading this book!

Holes A good book, with the best plot ever! This is by Louis Sachar. Read to find out what happens!

Movie V Book

Hi! In this article I would like to talk about the movie and the book, How to Train Your Dragon, By Cressida Cowell, and the appalling differences they have. First of all, I want to say that the movie and the book are both fabulous stories, but completely difference. Anyone who has watched the movie and read the book will see what I mean. Most people I know have seen the movie, yet have never read the book! I would like to point out some differences such as:

I am sure if you watch the movie there will be more differences. I would like to say there is nothing wrong with the movie, just that it is supposed be the movie of the book.
